BOEING is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, modernization, and maintenance of the Operational Flight Program (OFP) for the F-22 Raptor aircraft, enhancing its avionics systems to meet rigorous safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C-Sharp, and Python
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience with software testing
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software across the entire lifecycle, adhering to industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Translate customer requirements into initial software designs, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
- Support the enhancement, optimization, and integration of software functionalities to improve system performance and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and design documentation.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure high reliability and efficiency of the systems.
- Engage with users to address inquiries, resolve technical issues, and analyze user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks in compliance with evolving regulations and industry best practices.
