(GA-ASI) is looking for a programmer to design and code programs for various platforms, including fixing bugs, implementing enhancements, and working on assigned projects. The role involves creating interfaces between applications and ensuring developed programs meet compliance, reporting, and security standards.
Requirements
- Must demonstrate a basic understanding of applications development principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
- Must have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.
- Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes.

Responsibilities
- Designs, documents and codes programs for break/fix tickets, enhancements and assigned projects.
- Designs and constructs interfaces between applications, legacy or other systems.
- Documents program requirements and development.
- Analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and controls.
- Ensures programs that are developed meet various compliance, reporting, and security standards.
- Assists in the planning of future application requirements to ensure needs are met based on new developments in computer technology.
Other
- Under general supervision with on-going review, this position is responsible for designing and coding programs required on one or more platforms.
- Maintains the strictest confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD clearance is required.
