Support the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA, by developing, modifying, and maintaining software applications for avionics, weapons systems, and support equipment.
Requirements
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years software development.
- Minimum 3 years artificial intelligence
- Required to have Security+ CE certification
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: C++, Java, Python for backend stack, HTML, CSS, Javascript for frontend
- Experience with three or more of the following concepts: DevSecOps, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Pipelines, Agile SW Development, Full Stack Development, Cloud Based Design/Development, Containerization, Git, Object Oriented Programming
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain software applications for avionics, weapons systems, and support equipment.
- Work with a range of programming languages, tools, and platforms to ensure software meets operational and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate software with hardware components.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure seamless system functionality.
- Provide expert guidance to teams in solving complex technical challenges.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of advanced features and system architectures.
