Peraton is seeking a Software Developer to join the CFTC Data Engineering and Architecture team to design and develop cloud-native solutions, improve client environments using current cloud capabilities, and develop Databases, Data Warehouses, and the ETL applications and infrastructure necessary to populate them.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift
- Experience with Sql Server Integration Services
- Experience with Software Development.
- AWS Cloud Certifications
Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native solutions.
- Develop Databases, Data Warehouses and the ETL applications and infrastructure necessary to populate them.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning services in development, test and production environments
- Maintain document and diagram cloud solutions, gathering requirements to support the platform and systems
- Extend, bug fix and maintain code to meet user requirements/issues.
- Maintain Stored-procedures, Views, and SSIS packages to address users’ requests and concerns.
- Do root-cause analysis for users’ questions/concerns.

- Must be local to the CFTC DC office, able to work in the office 3 days a week
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience communicating with business users and stakeholders.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to connect the dots of technical work to big picture plan.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance.
