UST is looking to enhance the stability, efficiency, and reliability of their production systems and applications by hiring a Software Developer Lead I.
Requirements
- Strong experience with ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter/IICS) and data pipeline development.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Experience with job scheduling tools (Tidal, Control-M).
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration, including shell scripting and system troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker/Podman for containerized application development and deployment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and tooling.
- Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA for ITSM and agile development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions to support healthcare applications designed in Java and deployed in Linux server.
- Perform advanced triage and in-depth troubleshooting of incidents related to database monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, application performance, and batch processing.
- Analyze and resolve complex job failures in Tidal job scheduler and Informatica workflows, including detailed log analysis and data investigation.
- Execute complex, documented recovery procedures and contribute to the development and refinement of runbooks and operational best practices.
- Utilize ServiceNow extensively for incident management, problem management, change tracking, and knowledge base contributions.
- Use JIRA for tracking complex tasks, problem tickets, or collaborating on operational improvement projects.
- Provide advanced support for pre-adjudication claims processing systems, ensuring data integrity and timely flow by proactively identifying and resolving issues.

- 5-7+ years of experience in software engineering or application development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
