ActioNet is looking for a Software Developer to support the design, configuration, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications, as well as develop and implement applications, pages, lists, forms, and workflows to meet end-user and mission requirements.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software development experience with a focus on SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with application lifecycle management, including requirements, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Proficiency with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common frameworks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document, and resolve application issues in an enterprise environment.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker or SharePoint Developer Associate.
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
  • Agile or SAFe Practitioner certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, configuration, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications.
  • Develop and implement applications, pages, lists, forms, and workflows to meet end-user and mission requirements.
  • Assist senior developers in creating technical design documents, test cases, and implementation plans.
  • Participate in application testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Support cloud-based environments including Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO) and DoD-hosted platforms.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry development practices, including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Document source code, configuration changes, and processes in accordance with DoD standards.

Other

  • This position requires a Secret clearance.
  • Familiarity with DoD IT environments, cybersecurity compliance (STIGs, RMF), and DoD enterprise standards.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Provide user support for deployed applications and respond to requests for enhancements or fixes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, system administrators, and cybersecurity staff to ensure compliance with policies and RMF requirements.
