XpertTech, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy applications primarily based on .Net and Java technologies, gather requirements, prepare technical documentation, write test scripts, and provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing software capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying .Net and Java-based applications is essential.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, requirement gathering, technical documentation, and testing methodologies is required.
- Familiarity with batch processing, ad-hoc reporting, and production support activities will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using .Net and Java technologies in accordance with project specifications and performance requirements.
- Gather detailed requirements from stakeholders and prepare comprehensive technical and design documentation.
- Write and execute test scripts to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Provide ongoing support for existing applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
- Enhance existing software capabilities by implementing new features and functionalities based on client needs.
- Develop specifications and performance benchmarks for new applications and updates.
- Handle critical activities during production go-live, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
Other
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates with any suitable combination of education, training, or experience will also be considered.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are critical.
- Participate in status meetings with business and IT stakeholders to communicate progress, issues, and solutions.
