Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD and automation, and associated development.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and monitoring platforms is preferred.
- Working knowledge of the application-level database interface (experience with MS SQL server is preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the software products offered by HealthStream in accordance with technology best practices and product offerings.
- Help design and estimate effort of new features or sub-systems from business concept to detailed technical design.
- Develop quality, defect free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards.
- Mentor junior technical team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Actively participate in group discussions on technical implementation and solution design, contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Trace defects/functionality back to the related source code, ensuring swift problem resolution.
- Participate in standard processes such as code deployments.
Other
- Work with team leaders and senior developers to understand and refine requirements.
- Translate technical aspects of work to non-technical co-workers, ensuring clear and transparent communication across teams.
- Contribute clear and concise solution documentation, facilitating knowledge transfer and process clarity.
- A solid grasp on the functionality of the products maintained by the team and a cursory knowledge of all products within the product family.
- Exhibit appropriate attention to time management, professional conduct, and adherence to corporate policies.
- You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- At least 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Developer, Consultant, Software Engineer, or closely related occupation.
