Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B) is seeking to develop and enhance proprietary software solutions to support design and production work in their MEP engineering firm.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems
- Understanding of relational data
- Familiarity with trade-specific, energy, and building codes
- Working knowledge of Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and related platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platforms and related programming tools
- Experience with computational design applications
- Technical skills in C-Sharp, JavaScript, Python, CSS, WPF, XAML, Azure web services (Cosmos/Functions/AppServices), ASP.NET, Revit/AC API
Responsibilities
- Develop custom solutions to enhance design and work process efficiency
- Support the development of in-house tools, including Thrux and custom Autodesk tools
- Evaluate third-party AI tools
- Develop in-house AI models using techniques such as computer vision, speech recognition, natural language processing, and machine learning
- Ensure alignment between BIM content and custom software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional MEP engineering and Corporate Services teams to support workflow efficiency
- Provide technical support to end users
