SMX is seeking a mid-level Software Developer to support systems engineering for weapons systems, including technical R&D, analysis, and documentation for the acquisition and evaluation of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of relevant software development experience
- Proficient understanding of Agile S/W development
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs (network architecture background preferred)
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
- Update software or enhance existing software capabilities
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements
- Maintain databases within an application area, working independently or as part of a development team

- Clearance Required: Secret
- US Citizenship is required for work on DoD contract
- BS or BA degree in Computer Science or IT discipline from an accredited college or university is required
