Leidos is seeking a Software Developer to provide Post Production Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) for the CECOM IEW&S Directorate Sensors and Mission Division (SMED), supporting operations at Aberdeen Proving Ground with mission-critical sensor platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience across the full software lifecycle in military systems.
- Proficiency in C-Sharp, C++, .NET, Visual Basic.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11.
- Strong documentation and configuration management skills.
- Experience with virtual environments (e.g., VMware).
- Knowledge of Visual Studio and plug-in architectures.
- Familiarity with tools like Eggplant, Jira, Confluence, Perforce Helix ALM, Git/GitHub.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize source code and software applications.
- Apply frameworks and manage the full software release lifecycle.
- Perform programming, documentation, configuration management, testing, and debugging.
- Collaborate with system engineers to translate analytic and interface requirements into functional tools.
- Design and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution applications.
- Work independently or lead small teams to deliver robust sensor software solutions.
