Leidos National Security Sector has an opportunity in the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Missile Defense mission areas, focusing on finding the best people, processes, and tools that will provide solutions in data integration and fusion, data analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and decision support tools.
Requirements
- Expertise in C++ and Java programming.
- Experience in developing micro-services and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
- Experience in FORTRAN
- Understanding of missile warning message types
Responsibilities
- Design and implement containerized environments for Java adn C++ applications.
- Develop mission-critical software supporting missile defense systems.
- Communicate and document technical solutions for integrated engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay updated on state-of-the-art programming techniques and technologies.
- Conduct software design and code reviews to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with System Engineering teams to synchronize, schedule, and demonstrate capabilities to customers.
- Manage regression coding and deployment delays with third-party contractors and stakeholders.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Software development or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- US Citizen; Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within engineering teams.
- Effective communication skills and experience managing multiple tasks.
- Experience with missile warning and missile defense
