Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is experiencing unprecedented growth, fueled by AI/ML and traditional workloads. The Virtual Networking Data plane group needs to build highly customizable Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN) data plane services on programmable SmartNICs/DPUs to offer customers predictable performance, secure isolation, and high availability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Linux systems/application development
- 3+ years of experience with embedded systems (e.g. hardware bringup, prototyping)
- 2+ years of experience with Python
- Solid understanding of networking and cloud(preferably OCI) concepts
- Proficient with Linux based build and analysis tools (e.g. make, bazel)
- Proficient with commonly used networking protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP
Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
- Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services.
- Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
- Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
