Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Software Developer to provide solutions in data integration and fusion, data analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and decision support tools for the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Missile Defense mission areas.
Requirements
- Expertise in C++ and Java programming.
- Experience in developing micro-services and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
- Experience in FORTRAN
- Experience with missile warning and missile defense
- Understanding of missile warning message types
Responsibilities
- Design and implement containerized environments for Java adn C++ applications.
- Develop mission-critical software supporting missile defense systems.
- Communicate and document technical solutions for integrated engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay updated on state-of-the-art programming techniques and technologies.
- Conduct software design and code reviews to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with System Engineering teams to synchronize, schedule, and demonstrate capabilities to customers.
- Manage regression coding and deployment delays with third-party contractors and stakeholders.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Software development or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience. (Additional related experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirements)
- US Citizen; Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within engineering teams.
- Master's degree in associated field
- Effective communication skills and experience managing multiple tasks.
