Rochester Regional Health is looking to hire a Software Developer to design, develop, and support secure, high-performance applications and ensure system reliability. The role involves translating business needs into technical solutions, contributing to DevOps, and staying current with emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in .NET (C-Sharp), React.js, and RESTful API development.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts, especially in AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms to support hybrid/cloud-native development

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET (C-Sharp) and React.js
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end, back-end, and third-party systems
  • Enhance and support existing applications, ensuring high availability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Participate in the deployment and integration of third-party/commercial software, ensuring system compatibility
  • Assist senior developers and technical leads with architecture decisions, development tasks, and best practices.
  • Help with troubleshooting and optimizing applications supported by the Information Services Department
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts including DevOps, CI/CD, and code quality initiatives

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, define project scope, and translate business needs into functional solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to both development and DevOps initiatives.
