Rochester Regional Health is looking to hire a Software Developer to design, develop, and support secure, high-performance applications and ensure system reliability.
Requirements
- Proficiency in .NET (C-Sharp), React.js, and RESTful API development.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts, especially in AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
- Maintain a basic understanding of AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms to support hybrid/cloud-native development
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET (C-Sharp) and React.js
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end, back-end, and third-party systems
- Enhance and support existing applications, ensuring high availability, reliability, and maintainability
- Participate in the deployment and integration of third-party/commercial software, ensuring system compatibility
- Assist senior developers and technical leads with architecture decisions, development tasks, and best practices.
- Help with troubleshooting and optimizing applications supported by the Information Services Department
- Document system architecture, workflows, and technical decisions

- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, define project scope, and translate business needs into functional solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts including DevOps, CI/CD, and code quality initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study
- Plus 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study
- Plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or with clinical decision support systems.
