Vantor is looking to develop and enhance complex software systems that support vital intelligence operations for their Intelligence Community (IC) missions, requiring a highly skilled Back-end Developer to contribute to advancing spatial intelligence technology.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in programming languages such as C++, Java, Lambda, Go, and cloud platforms like AWS is essential.
- Experience with creating task-based native software, algorithms, RESTful APIs, Web Services, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker is also required.
- six years of experience in software development, technology, engineering, or scientific roles.
Responsibilities
- Enable the development of system architectures, software systems, and applications with a primary focus on back-end development.
- Design and develop new software solutions based on algorithm definitions and prototypes, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
- Collaborate with program teams to plan and execute future operations, aligning technical solutions with mission objectives.
- Implement and refine agile development methodologies and utilize associated tools to enhance project efficiency.
- Support sensor system design, fielding, special communications, and command and control (C2) systems in a collaborative environment.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to compile complex products, assess technical risks, and evaluate project success probabilities.
- Prepare and deliver briefings to customers, program leadership, and mission partners, presenting modeling efforts, results, conclusions, and recommendations effectively.

- Applicants must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph to be considered for this position.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields is required; however, an additional four years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to articulate complex technical analyses clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including senior government officials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, PowerPoint—is expected.
- Prior experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and the IC, especially on-site, is highly desirable.
