Vantor is looking to solve business and technical problems related to advancing spatial intelligence technology for Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) missions, requiring the development of robust backend systems and software architectures to provide real-time insights for decision makers and operators.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Lambda, Go, and cloud platforms like AWS is essential.
- Experience with creating task-based native software, algorithms, RESTful APIs, web services, orchestration, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) is highly desirable.
- Experience with high-performance and distributed computing systems, digital signal processing, image processing, and geospatial data.
- Knowledge of SAR, EO, GIS, and tools such as ArcGIS, ENVI, STK, and others is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Enable the development of system architectures, software systems, and applications primarily focused on back-end development to support complex spatial intelligence solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement new software based on algorithm definitions and prototypes, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with program teams to plan and execute future operational strategies and technical roadmaps.
- Practice and enhance agile development methodologies and utilize associated tools to streamline project workflows.
- Support sensor system design, deployment, and fielding, as well as special communications and command-and-control (C2) systems.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to compile, analyze, and present complex technical information, informing leadership on project risks and success factors.
- Brief customers, program managers, senior leadership, and mission partners on modeling efforts, results, and strategic recommendations.

- Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph and be a U.S. Person
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technology field. Alternatively, candidates with four additional years of relevant experience may qualify in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of six years of experience in software development, engineering, or related fields is required.
- Candidates should also possess strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical analyses for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
