Actalent is looking to solve the problem of inefficient engine tests by enhancing and maintaining essential software tools that support propulsion analysis, aiming to reduce test time from days to hours.
Requirements
- Proficiency in GO, Python, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Kubernetes and time series data management.
- Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD systems such as Bamboo or Teamcity.
- Experience working with time series data is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in writing unit tests.
- Experience in aerospace or propulsion is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the software team to enhance and maintain the operation meta database and other applications.
- Develop and implement new features, including unit test writing and code quality improvements.
- Contribute to the standardization and best practices of code quality.
- Integrate and optimize metadata tracking to streamline test data accessibility.
- Participate in the replacement of the front-end system with a TypeScript-based solution for metadata management.
- Assist in running automated standard reports to evaluate test outcomes.
