Rite-Solutions is looking to solve software development needs for the Navy and Marine Corps
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' software coding experience in C++
- Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian tool suites, Jira (for issue tracking) and Confluence (decision tracking)
- Experience with Source code tracking tools (i.e. Git, Bitbucket)
- Knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation
- Experience working on custom development software projects
- Experience working with DoD customers
Responsibilities
- Plans, performs, and leads software design, coding, and testing
- Develop/modify software requirements specifications to existing program requirements for new/modified capabilities
- Generate and debug assigned software code elements
- Generate and document preliminary design & detailed software design
- Generate and implement unit level test procedures
- Generate and perform capability test procedures to verify complete functional coverage of all new/modified code
- Generate procedures and scripts and perform automated testing
Other
- U.S. Citizenship and Active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
- All positions require a pre-employment background check
- Must be willing to work onsite at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Dahlgren, VA
- Participate in all design and code reviews
