Wilton Woods Center is looking to solve the problem of designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining enterprise software, customizing, configuring, converting, deploying, and maintaining systems, and performing necessary system integration.
Requirements
- Knowledge of system development, implementation, and integration practices and techniques.
- Understanding of and skilled in developing, delivering, and maintaining quality enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of software quality testing principles and techniques and configuration management practices.
- Proficiency with relevant software development languages and tools.
- Knowledge of, and ability to quickly learn, various software development tools and software implementation techniques.
- Knowledge of and experience with various systems architectures.
- Knowledge of database design and implementation practices and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Builds, assembles, and implements software components for use in operational, tactical, and strategic systems.
- Integrates operational, tactical, and strategic systems within the defined knowledge environment (systems infrastructure).
- Develops and implements data conversions, data extractions, and system interfaces; implements, maintains, and monitors an application database(s) within the enterprise.
- Evaluates technologies that enable the design, construction, and implementation of enterprise systems.
- Performs system problem tracking and resolution.
- Collects software metrics for use in evaluating and improving system performance; conducts detailed software testing and verification to assure software solution satisfies functional and technical requirements.
- Adheres to configuration management standards to ensure version control and system integrity.
Other
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in the development and maintenance of information systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of, or ability, to quickly learn school division business practices.
