GDIT is looking for a Software Developer to deliver simple solutions to complex problems and make an impact by using expertise to protect the country from threats.
Requirements
- CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance)
- Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures used in software development.
- Development experience with .Net, C-Sharp, SQL, JS, and HTML (Preferred)

Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex new software products, and making significant enhancements to existing software.
- Integrating design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.
- Resolving complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
- Researching emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.
- Providing input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
- Troubleshooting complex problems and providing customer support for process specific hardware and application issues.
- Preparing reports on analyses, findings, and project progress.
Other
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- 3 years’ experience with at least 2 years’ experience in software development
- Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills
