Hubbell Incorporated is looking to bridge industrial automation and software development to support new product development and internal tool creation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: PLC programming, C-Sharp, C, Lisp, SAP VC/Scripting.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, industrial control systems, and VFDs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PLC programs for industrial control systems using ABB controls.
- Create and support SAP VC models, SAP scripts, and configuration logic for product customization.
- Automate engineering workflows using AutoCAD Lisp and Inventor iLogic.
- Design and maintain internal engineering tools using C-Sharp and .NET.
- Support embedded software development in C for proprietary hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet product and business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both legacy and new systems
Other
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development or industrial automation.
- Strong organizational skills in documenting design, testing, and validation processes.
- Willing to travel up to 5%
