PlayStation is looking to hire a Software Engineer, Build & Tools to develop, update, and maintain software application build and release pipelines and processes to deliver software across a variety of platforms, including PlayStation consoles, Web, Mobile, and PC.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of object-oriented principles
- Familiarity with common data structures and algorithms
- Experience with Git, GitHub
- Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
- Familiar with common web tooling and frameworks
- Familiar with container technologies such as Docker
- Familiar with Akamai and Content Delivery Networks
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain software application build and release pipelines and processes to deliver software across a variety of platforms, including PlayStation consoles, Web, Mobile, and PC
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to ensure scalable, repeatable, and secure deployments across various environments
- Build applications and tools that streamline application development and deployment processes
- Facilitate the needs of dependent teams (engineering, QA, and operations) and work with external teams to achieve results
- Monitor and measure software telemetry data (metrics, logs, traces) to identify gaps and prioritize improvements within our pipelines and tools
- Build dashboards to visualize metrics and communicate the health and performance of our systems
- Proactively diagnose and resolve CI/CD issues, as well as issues reported by development teams

- Collaborate with team members, globally, across all SIE offices, to effectively build and deliver PlayStation software experiences
