Peraton is seeking a skilled Software Developer to support the development, integration, and testing of advanced threat missile and radar simulation models used in high-fidelity defense simulations, directly impacting national security.
Requirements
- C++ and MatLab/Simulink experience, more along the traditional "software developer" lines.
- Familiar with the AGILE process, with tools like JIRA, GitLab etc. and ability to write efficient code.
- Foundational understanding of missile and radar systems modeling.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-fidelity threat missile and radar simulation models that replicate real-world systems and behaviors.
- Enhance and maintain existing models using advanced modeling and simulation tools in alignment with the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) delivery schedule.
- Integrate threat models into the JSE simulation architecture, performing thorough integration and regression testing to ensure operational performance and reliability.
- Analyze simulation outputs, validate models against empirical data, and refine systems for improved realism and predictive accuracy.
- Utilize technical data packages and intelligence sources to inform model development and contribute to test planning and execution.
