TRAX is hiring a Software Developer to join their Data Migration team to ensure data integrity and validation during the implementation process of their aircraft operation software.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of relational database schemas and SQL.
- Experience using a modern GUI developmental tool such as SQL Developer or Eclipse.
- Familiar with at least one programming language Java, C-Sharp and. NET
- The ideal candidate would have programmed a software program (windows or web-based) that interacts with a relational database.
Responsibilities
- Database basic design techniques understanding relational Databases and being able to write select statements to retrieve information from the database.
- Ability to navigate the interface and operate IDEs efficiently using the taskbar.
- Modifies and maintains software programs written by others.
- Creates test transactions, runs tests to find errors, and confirms the program meets specifications. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revises the program.
- Designs or writes program specifications based on consultations with supervisors, system analysts, other programmers, and end users.
- Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.
