AMEWAS is seeking a Software Developer to support Integrated Combat Environment by developing software for closed-loop radar simulators and electronic warfare modeling and simulation.
Requirements
3 years of experience using C++
Experience developing on Linux operating systems
Experience using Qt
Responsibilities
Develops software related to closed-loop radar simulators and other electronic warfare (EW) modeling and simulation
Develops analytics software to extract data from closed-loop radar simulators to support customer testing objectives
Develops software in C++ using Qt
Develops and utilizes data analysis scripts using Python or MATLAB to assist customers in getting the data that supports their test objectives
Works with SMEs using EWIRDB and other EW models to develop/troubleshoot existing systems
Works with SMEs to capture and analyze data
Other
The ability to obtain and maintain SAP and/or SCI access as required
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

The physical environment requires the employee to work in an indoor laboratory and anechoic chamber for a majority of their day, on site versus in an office.
The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site or near the work site.
On rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.
