Siemens is looking to design and implement embedded software for RTOS and bare-metal-based products to enable sustainable progress through technology

Requirements

• Embedded C software development, RTOS programming, and microcontroller/microprocessor (ARM Cortex) systems
• Proficiency in C programming and debugging tools (e.g., JTAG)
• Hands-on experience with hardware schematics, lab bench equipment, and electronic test instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters)
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART)
• Experience with Agile methodologies, software testing tools (e.g., Unity, SonarQube), and version control systems (e.g., GIT, ClearCase)
• Familiarity with secure firmware and data transfer methods
• Experience in designing energy monitoring products

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing embedded C software for bare-metal and RTOS microcontroller-based systems
• Developing innovative solutions in algorithm development, wired and wireless communications, and IoT security
• Contributing to data collection and analysis across the full product lifecycle
• Developing software tools to support verification and manufacturing processes
• Researching and integrating new components, technologies, and methods into product designs

Other

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex code
