Arcadis is seeking a Software Developer Engineer to join their Florida-based team to develop and maintain software solutions and systems for local, state, and federal Department of Transportation agencies, aiming to improve efficiency and safety in public transportation infrastructure.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in .NET and C development
- Proficiency with Angular and TypeScript for front-end development
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control
- Experience working on projects in the transportation or government sector
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions and systems
- Collaborating with our Florida team on projects supporting FDOT operations and infrastructure
- Build robust applications that help improve efficiency and safety
- Work on billable client projects with direct revenue impact
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
- Contribute to solutions that make a real difference in public transportation infrastructure
