Lineage is looking to solve the problem of scaling automation capabilities across UI and API and Database layers for their next-generation WMS platform, Connect, while also contributing to manual testing efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation across web, mobile, and APIs

  • Experience with Git and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for UI (React/React Native), API (Node.js) and database backend components.
  • Create and execute test cases for stored procedures, database functions to validate business logic and data consistency.
  • Partner with developers to help them create effective unit and integration tests.
  • Provide guidance on automation strategy, tooling, and best practices.
  • Begin to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable pre-merge validations.
  • Document and troubleshoot bugs; contribute to efforts that reduce production incidents.
  • Learn and understand our custom-built WMS platform (Connect Plus), gaining knowledge of how it integrates with other components like WCS, APIs, and data services.
