Dominion National is looking for a Full Stack Developer to develop and test existing and new applications, proprietary and otherwise, to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework and associated development technologies, particularly Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Entity Framework and LINQ.
  • Intermediate understanding of design patterns and principles, particularly Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • 3+ years’ experience developing .NET applications in C-Sharp or similar object-oriented languages.
  • 2+ years of strong front-end skills in HTML/CSS and React for building modern and responsive user interfaces.
  • Experienced with SQL, RESTful APIs, good understanding of data structures and design patterns.
  • Experience with Git for version control
  • Knowledge of .NET Core 3.1/.NET 5.0, ASP.NET

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop front-end and back-end components of web applications using .NET Core 3.1/.NET 5.0, ASP.NET, React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Collaborate closely with other developers to understand requirements, to design and deliver solutions using various technologies, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements.
  • Review and document software failures and take or recommend corrective action.
  • Ensures security and integrity of all systems and data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance of existing applications/processes and implement.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Mentors and aids team members as needed.

  • This role will require an onsite interview and may include future onsite meetings for team building and strategy sessions.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment.
  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday and hours of work may fall between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
