Clymer Farner Barley, Inc. (CFB) is seeking an Entry-Level Software Developer to develop, maintain, and deploy Python-based applications that support various projects, aiming to enhance efficiency, data analysis, and internal processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python
- experience with frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application workflows.
- Understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, Mocha).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python applications using frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and handle data serialization (JSON, XML).
- Work with Docker and Docker Compose to containerize applications and support deployment workflows.
- Build and maintain frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; jQuery experience is a plus.
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, admin staff, and other team members in Git-based workflows and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize code performance, and contribute to software quality improvements.
