AspenTech is looking to build and maintain software deployment solutions for their aspenONE software to make it easier for customers to adopt their latest technologies.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with Windows Installer technology and InstallShield.
- Experienced in one or more of C, PowerShell, Bash (SH), and C++.
- Understanding software deployment procedures and best practices.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git and Perforce.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain installation packages for Windows and Linux platforms.
- Utilize Windows Installer and other installation technologies to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Create and maintain installation scripts using C, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
- Leverage InstallShield for advanced installation packaging and deployment tasks.
- Work with container technologies to support modern deployment environments.
- Ensure installation processes integrate with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve installation-related issues.

- 1-2 years experience as an Installation Developer.
