Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Software Developer II to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support their innovative healthcare solutions, aiming to make medications more accessible and affordable.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-first, API-first, microservice architecture, and strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in building cloud-native applications in AWS.
- Excellent understanding of coding standards, best practices, and software development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of source control tools such as TFS and GitHub.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new applications and enhancements based on business and technical needs.
- Write, translate, and maintain code for software programs and applications, ensuring alignment with specifications.
- Modify existing scripts and develop new ones to improve application functionality and performance.
- Conduct performance testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to optimize software performance.
- Utilize technologies such as Unix/Linux shell scripting, C-Sharp and .NET, React, AWS Cloud Development, Oracle, Telerik, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and other NoSQL databases.
- Analyze existing applications, implement enhancements, and research new technologies to improve our software offerings.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that our software systems are efficient, reliable, and scalable.

- College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 6 years).
- Experience interviewing end-users to gather insights on functionality, usability, and issues.
- Proficiency in developing test cases and test plans.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry practices and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance standards.
