COCC is seeking a Software Developer to ensure new clients have a successful transition into their banking software by supporting the conversions process with coding, writing scripts, and troubleshooting, while focusing on efficiency projects.
Requirements
- 2-3 years programming in a comparable work environment
- Experience with PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle Financials
- Knowledge of several high-level programming languages including C-Sharp, Java and Python
- Knowledge of OO Concepts, Relational Database and Data Management concepts
Responsibilities
- Designs and codes solutions for conversions, special requests, enhancements and defects
- Reviews inputs, processes, and outputs
- Codes needed changes and/or corrections and updates code library and unit tests all code changes
- Develops operator instructions where necessary
- May provide support for off-hours production issues
- Assists in testing functionality, researches problems discovered and works on possible follow-up unit testing
Other
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written, and the ability to collaborate and communicate across teams and levels of the organization
