Nakupuna Consulting is seeking to support the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP) by designing technical solutions and extending PeopleSoft application functionality
Requirements
- PeopleSoft PeopleTools and SQL knowledge required
- Certifications in PeopleSoft PeopleTools, and SAFe for Teams preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a computer software-related field required
- PeopleSoft application functionality knowledge
- Agile development team experience
- Experience with prescribed documentation tool(s)
- Unit testing experience
Responsibilities
- Follow technical design specifications.
- Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications.
- Conduct unit testing in line with defined testing processes.
- Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.
- Conduct peer reviews on other teammates’ configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.
- Explain technical approach and code to team members.
- Demonstrate software functionality to end users.
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree in a Computer Software or Engineering major or 2 or more years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Current Secret clearance required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers
