The Voice of Texas Agriculture is looking for a paid intern developer to write code for line-of-business applications, learn existing systems, and grow their technical skills.
Requirements
- C-Sharp language
- Java language
- JavaScript programming
- A JavaScript framework (React, Angular, etc.)
- SQL database programming
- Implement microservice APIs
- Object-oriented fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Write, test, document, debug, and maintain computer programs.
- Execute specifications as detailed by other team members.
- Troubleshoot application program malfunctions.
- Estimate task effort.
- Build technical competencies through daily work and training.
- Learn how existing systems operate and interact; build domain knowledge.
- Follow established practices for project tracking and code quality.
Other
- A minimum 1-year programming experience.
- Associate degree from an accredited school, preferred in a computer or technical related field.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Ability and willingness to learn and extend skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
