Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) is seeking a Software Developer to debug and implement criminal justice information applications and integrations for the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) in the Minnesota Justice Information Services (MNJIS) department. This role is critical for ensuring the safety of all Minnesotans by supporting law enforcement and criminal justice agencies.
Requirements
- C-Sharp development experience within the object-oriented framework .Net 4.6 and above
- Microsoft SQL Server with writing T-SQL
- Experience working with HTML/CSS
- Experience working with ASP.NET MVC
- Experience triaging and debugging applications with minimum documentation
- Experience working with Javascript
- Experience with XML Schemas
- Unit test experience (NUnit)
- Experience with SOAP/REST Web Services
- Experience authoring XSL transformations
- Experience using Entity Framework
Responsibilities
- Debugging and implementing criminal justice information applications and integrations
- Provide input and participate in legacy applications and database debugging
- Triage of logical and physical data models
- Provide technical knowledge in the development of web based applications, middleware applications, web services, and message brokers
- Ongoing support for applications by defining, documenting, and implementing solutions for new requirements and feature requests
- Works with other technical staff, business staff and vendors to implement solutions to meet BCA goals and objectives

- This position requires an employee to be onsite at 1430 Maryland Ave E, St Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.
