Astranis is looking to solve the problem of expanding humanity's reach into the solar system by building advanced satellites for high orbits, and is seeking a Software Developer to work on satellite network management software.
Requirements
- Experience with Django or similar frameworks
- Experience working with relational/SQL databases (e.g. Postgres)
- Comfortable rapidly prototyping and fully developing user interface concepts with focus on overall user experience
- Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch
Responsibilities
- Design and implement UI components and Back end workflows of Satellite network management software
- Work closely with the network operations teams to create software that helps build and manage Satellite and ground Networks
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define software requirements, architecture, and design
Other
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required
- Bachelor's degree (or who will have done so before working at Astranis)
