ProSidian Seeks a Software Developer (QA) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy, to develop software programs that comply with site requirements and design specifications
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position
- Strong Web-based Application Development using ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, WCF, and WinForms
- Thorough understanding of network, application, and data security best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot a web-based application
- Experience with systems documentation and architecture diagrams
- Solid problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical person
Responsibilities
- Develop software programs that comply with site requirements and design specifications
- Interface with support groups to develop web-based applications
- Modify existing applications to integrate with other databases and applications
- Implement and maintain internally developed web applications with a specific emphasis on usability, performance, and scalability
- Present applications and designs to the development group for review and input
- Review and understand customer requirements and specifications
- Work with technical personal to define production test plans

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE 'Q' clearance
