By Light Professional IT Services LLC is seeking personnel to provide comprehensive support for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Facilities Management team in the implementation and sustainment of a Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software solution to optimize facility operations across DCMA’s nationwide and overseas portfolio.
Requirements
- Proficient in programming languages and frameworks relevant to CAFM systems (such as Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, RESTful services)
- Demonstrated experience in integrating software solutions with enterprise platforms (e.g., Autodesk, Maximo).
- Experience with API development, system migrations, and database management.
- Experience supporting cloud-based, FedRAMP-authorized SaaS environments.
- Experience working in Agile environments and with DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience with Autodesk Revit, CAD, Maximo integration, and facilities/space management systems
- Experience implementing solutions compliant with NIST 800-53, DoD RMF, and Section 508
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, customization, testing, and deployment of Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) SaaS software solutions in support of DCMA’s facility management operations.
- Translate system requirements and functional specifications into software solutions, ensuring integration with Autodesk, Maximo, and other enterprise systems as required.
- Oversee data migration, synchronization, and validation processes for the transition from legacy databases and systems to the CAFM solution.
- Implement and maintain APIs and system interfaces to support seamless data exchange with DoD and DCMA stakeholder systems, ensuring compliance with all defined technical standards.
- Apply software development best practices, including secure coding, configuration management, documentation, and version control for all deliverables.
- Support software updates, patches, security enhancements, and defect corrections to maintain the FedRAMP and IL4 compliance status of the SaaS environment.
- Ensure all developed solutions adhere to DoD cybersecurity (RMF/NIST) and accessibility (Section 508) requirements.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in software development, with at least 3 years developing and implementing enterprise-level SaaS/web applications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field
