GDIT is looking for a Software Developer Sr Advisor to support the NAWCWD mission at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, by designing, developing, and integrating software solutions for database and airborne electronic warfare systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, integrate, and modify software for database systems and integration of those systems with airborne electronic warfare systems
- Develop, create, troubleshoot, and modify specialized utility programs and applications in support of real-time systems
- Perform hardware and software development planning in the incorporation of modifications into aviation systems
- Study information needs; conferring with users; study systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigate problem areas; follow the software development lifecycle
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Help to lead and mentor other software engineers and developers to perform and assist in their duties as required.
