PIMCO is looking to solve the business and technical problem of developing and supporting a state-of-the-art SMA/Muni order generation, management, execution, and workflow platform, while also aiming to replace and converge legacy platforms with new services, architectures, and components.
Requirements
- Write full stack code using .NET Core, SQL, and AngularJS/React
- Ability to perform code archaeology as we consolidate business functionality onto strategic platforms.
- Focus on non-functional requirements such as efficient and useful logging, supportability, automation, and trader workflow.
Responsibilities
- Support live trading systems - coding through deployment.
- Build expertise, domain knowledge, and relationships with users and the broader tech team.
- Write full stack code using .NET Core, SQL, and AngularJS/React
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select the best technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., style guidelines, code accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content, adapting it based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing their sources and impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
