To deliver innovative and reusable web components in cutting edge technologies like React, Typescript, JavaScript, and CSS to assist in creating and implementing responsive, reusable components for SAS customers
Requirements
- Experience writing efficient JavaScript code, specifically React UI framework
- Experience with writing efficient Typescript code
- Experience working with a framework agnostic component library
- Exposure to and experience with the Documentation Object Model lifecycle
- Experience conducting code reviews
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Basic understanding of API implementation
Responsibilities
- Writing efficient JavaScript code (React is ideal) with a solid understanding of the DOM lifecycle to maximize components’ performance across browsers along with security and accessibility focus
- Participate in project scoping and scheduling; track progress of individual tasks and alerts stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of task
- Ensure the quality of the code you write through the development of automated tests (unit, performance, user interface)
- Conduct code reviews to ensure integrity and cross-product consistency
- Work closely with testing by providing thorough reviews of the test plan and communicate when updates to the plan should be made to cover code changes related to enhancements, redesigns and/or bug fixes
- Partner cross-functionally throughout the organization with other project stakeholders (e.g., managers, developers, user interface and visual designers, product managers) to ensure implementation satisfies functional requirements and is consistent with established R&D standards

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
