Quantum Research International, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer Unit Tester to ensure test coverage, traceability, and documentation meet technical requirements and government quality standards for .NET applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience with C-Sharp .NET framework/core development and testing.
  • Demonstrated experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
  • Familiarity with mocking frameworks (Moq, NSubstitute, RhinoMocks).
  • Experience integrating tests into DoD-approved DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of version control (Git), branching strategies, and government-mandated repository management.
  • Active DoD 8570/8140 certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP+) or ability to obtain within contract timeframe.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute unit test scripts for .NET applications in accordance with PWS quality assurance and software assurance deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD testing frameworks and provide traceability to requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Apply test-driven development (TDD) and best practices to increase automation and reduce reliance on manual testing.
  • Utilize test frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, and MSTest, and integrate them into government-directed CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Employ mocking/stubbing frameworks (e.g., Moq, NSubstitute) to support isolated testing of C-Sharp components.
  • Provide test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Results Reports, aligned with RMF, DISA STIGs, and software assurance checklists.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to government-led Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).

Other

  • Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret Security Clearance and be eligible for SCI
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience supporting Army Software Factory or DoD software assurance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with RMF processes, STIG compliance, and automated security scans (SonarQube, Fortify, Sonatype).
  • Strong documentation skills to support contract deliverables (CDRLs, PWS tasking, and TO metrics).
