Tech(x) is seeking a skilled and adaptable Software Developer to support their software development needs on a part-time, on-call basis.
Requirements
- Software development experience using the following tools: Environment: Dot Net Core, React, React Query, Oracle, ColdFusion, CF Eclipse, JavaScript, Angular 6, Web API, Amazon Web Services, Linux, FTP, SQL Server, Postgresql, ASP.Net, Oracle 11g, CSS, Apache
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C-Sharp, or Java.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g., React, .NET, Django, Node.js).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of Front End Tools: Visual Studio, jQuery, Eclipse Databases, TFS, Jira, Bootstrap, C-Sharp, Oracle, Web Servers: IIS, Bit Bucket, Ajax, HTML, Visual Studio Code, MySQL, Blazor, Operating System: Windows, Web API, Trello, CFWheels MVC framework, APIs, User Interface (UI), REST, Agile Methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain web and software applications based on project requirements.
- Leverage .NET Framework Knowledge to provide support and maintenance for large-scale survey applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or urgent issues as they arise.
- Ensure code quality through best practices including testing and documentation.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions when needed.
- Provide support during off-hours or weekends on a rotational or as-needed basis.

- Ability to work independently and respond to tasks with quick turnaround when on-call.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- An active DoD secret or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10-15 years of experience.
- 4 years of directly related experience can be substituted for a degree.
- Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
