Design, develop, test, document and maintain production and R&D sonar and security system software in the Advanced Tactical Systems Division (ATSD) of Applied Research Laboratories (ARL).
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, Git, SQL, and bash scripting.
- Demonstrated ability to follow coding standards and testing standards as well as the ability to define and document complex software applications.
- Ability to examine the details of complex algorithms.
- Experience with Graphical User Interfaces in a Linux Environment.
- Two years of Linux Development.
- C-Sharp experience.
- Frontend Web experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop sonar software applications and scripts in a Linux environment using C/C++, Python, and Bash.
- Create supporting documentation for software and systems.
- Maintain and test new and legacy code.
- Participate in data collection exercises, data management, and analysis.
- Support the installation and testing of equipment in field locations.
