Apple Inc. is looking to develop GPU Driver software to validate GPU designs, define, author, and troubleshoot APIs for GPU features, and provide support to GPU hardware and software teams throughout the design and deployment phases.
Requirements
- Utilizing C, C++ and Python to work on multi-language codebases.
- Developing device drivers (or embedded systems software) for ARM processors.
- Experience in HW and SW interaction using C and C++.
- Utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration testing of software.
- Automating the execution of software testing workflows on macOS or Linux.
- Debugging complex failures using tools including GDB, LLDB, Xcode, or Visual Studio.
- Using software versioning, and performing releases using Git.
Responsibilities
- Develop GPU Driver software using C and C++ programming languages to validate the GPU designs.
- Define, author, and troubleshoot APIs for GPU features with a focus on architectural, functional, and performance aspects.
- Develop production-grade automated processes using python, SQL for verifying our code base with a continuous integration system.
- Provide support to GPU hardware teams throughout the model, design, and deployment phases, both before and after silicon production.
- Offer assistance to GPU software teams during production driver implementation.
- Create production quality automated flows for graphics core verification.
- Develop and maintain software functional test suites for driver features.

- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
