Zoom is launching the Zoom AI API Suite to monetize its AI capabilities and become a platform provider in the AI services market, requiring foundational API/SDK infrastructure for external developers and enterprises to access Zoom's AI technology.
Requirements
- Be proficient in modern programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or similar)
- Possess deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices
- Have a background in building developer tools, SDKs, or client libraries
- Bring experience in AI/ML service APIs or cognitive services platforms
- Have experience building and scaling distributed systems and microservices
- Demonstrate knowledge of speech recognition, NLP, or computer vision technologies
- Have experience with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and SDKs for Zoom's AI services (ASR, MT, OCR, AI Summary).
- Building robust batch and real-time processing capabilities for speech recognition and other AI services.
- Developing comprehensive SDK libraries and developer tools to ensure excellent developer experience.
- Integrating AI services with Zoom's billing platform and self-service infrastructure.
- Collaborating with AI research teams to productionize proprietary AI models.
- Creating and maintaining API documentation, code samples, and developer resources.
- Implementing monitoring, logging, and analytics for API usage and performance.
