Twist Bioscience is looking to solve the unique challenges of its highly customized production pipeline by building robust and scalable software frameworks to rapidly introduce new products and processes into its operations.

Requirements

• Mastery of object-oriented programming concepts
• Knowledge of multiple languages and frameworks
• Distributed systems
• Modern Javascript on the front end and server-side (React or Angular, Node)
• Python or other back-end language
• SQL & NoSQL database modeling and optimization
• Experience in working with cloud computing and CI/CD tools

Responsibilities

• Work on mission-critical systems to build software that helps run the production pipeline
• Create robust and scalable frameworks to enable Twist to rapidly introduce new products and processes into its operations
• Question the status quo and problem solve issues that directly affect 24x7 operations
• Design and implement large-scale software architecture, networking and distributed systems
• Work with cloud computing and CI/CD tools
• Design clean APIs
• Optimize SQL & NoSQL database modeling

Other

• BS/MS in Computer Science / Engineering and 1-3 years industry experience or equivalent work experience
• Curious and motivated with a passion for software technologies
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
